The importance of management in modern society

There is a popular opinion that management is important in modern society. At the same time, many others believe that there is no need in it.

I hold the view management is necessary for every organizations now days. To start with, management helps in achieving group goals that promote integration of people. Besides, management helps to improve the effectiveness in the work through planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling. In addition, management helps in development of society. It gives due importance to society obligations of different groups of people. It insists on providing quality goods and leads to growth of nation.

However, there is an opposite point of view that there is no need in management. My opponents insist that if people are self-organized and clean on their goals, can resolve conflicts and interpersonal issues, can hire and fire based on needs of the organization then there is no really need in management. Also, they considered that management negatively affects the productive engagement and slows companies down, weaken the owner’s efforts, modern management is wasteful and expensive.

I do not fully agree with my counterparts. Management is the science of handling business operations to realize their potential and follow the path of growth and expansion. The success of the organization depends highly upon how it is being managed.

To sum up, management is important at every phase of life whether it is yair personal life or professional matters, management plague a very important role in every aspect.
