Are today's celebrities really role models for today's youth?

Nowadays, most of the young people have some kind of idol among celebrities. This can be an actor from your favorite TV series, or a singer and music group, or a blogger in various social networks. I think celebrities have an enormous impact and influence on the younger community and they can also become role models, but unfortunately not all and mostly modern celebrities as rappers, ticktockers and bloggers. In my essay I want to talk about some celebrities and decide whether they can be a role model for young people or not.

I don't have a particular celebrity idol but I know some celebrities who have a good career and they can be a role model for youth. For example, an English actor Charlie Humman. Humman began his acting career by accident: he was fooling around while shopping when he was noticed and offered a small role in a TV series. After that, he decided that he really liked the career of an actor and he would like to develop in it, but unfortunately for the first years he did not get any serious roles, only a supporting actor. The actor said that he doesn't want to just take on any role that is offered to him, and he has 60 years to earn money, and the choices he makes over the next five years will determine the course of his career. And after that he took acting seriously, he went to acting classes and year after year he developed. Now you can see a lot of films there he has a main role, for example, ‘The Gentlemen’, ‘Pacific Rim’ or ‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’. Or for example an actor who is most famous among young people Aidan Gallagher. This young guy in his 17 years has achieved that he became the most famous star among the stars under 20 years, is one of the representatives of the UN and a good musician. I believe that such celebrities who did not stop after failures and did not give up achieved great results, can be an example for today's youth.

Also, today, there are other types of stars that are considered idols for young people. I believe this is not a role model for them. They do the stupidest things because they think it's a good thing, and it doesn't matter that some teenager might do the same and have serious problems after it.

Celebrities are a part of our lives, we can see them everywhere on the Internet or on TV, and of course idols will be role models for young people, but the main thing is to understand who has a positive influence and who has a negative one
