What can you say about Hamlet, the main character of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark (Hamlet, Prince of Denmark)

This essay will consider personality and what it influenced the character of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark. Hamlet is the literary character of the play by William Shakespeare. This character is a complicated and contradictory person. On the one hand, Hamlet is consider an indecisive and incapable human. On the other hand, Hamlet is portray as a strong person who was ready to solve his problems.

In my opinion, Hamlet is a person with a strong character. However, many factors influenced who he became. The main reasons are his upbringing and environment.

Firstly, Hamlet’s childhood was wonderful. He grew up in a family, love and surrounded by people closest. However, his completely beautiful world was destroy for a number of reasons. His father died, his mother remarried. Finally, the ghost of his father appears who tells Hamlet the truth about his death. Therefore, Hamlet left alone with a hypocritical reality. When cruelty and hatred were everywhere.

Secondly, Hamlet had ideals ideal people. He saw his father as an ideal. In addition, his friend Horace commands respect. While Hamlet’s environment was completely different. King Claudius was a hypocritical man. Friends of Hamlet had been traitors and spies of the King. Most of all, his character was influenced by the thought that his mother was also not an ideal person. Therefore, he decided to take revenge. However, slowness with which he decided to take revenge was controversial. Hamlet was by nature a slow and kind person why was forced by circumstances to betray his ideals.

In conclusion, Hamlet is the first person who realized all the hypocrisy and imperfection of the world around him. He entered into a fight with this world. Although from childhood, he was not ready for such harsh and hypocritical circumstances in his life. Only for these human characteristics, Hamlet was encouraged and sympathetic.
