When I think of Нamlet, I ask myself: «Why he thought thus?», «Why he acted this way?»

When I think of Нamlet, I ask myself: «Why he thought thus?», «Why he acted this way?». And so we have to turn to the time in which he lived. The main character of the play lived in the Middle Ages and undoubtedly certain laws and an order dominated at this time, and for this time there were certain values. I think that the author of the play shows us, the Middle Ages were cruel. For example, blood revenge is impossible presently, and in the Middle Ages it was normal.

Тhinking of Hamlet's character, it is necessary to remember his childhood and family in which he grew up. As I see, the main character grew up in the loving family, he had good and loyal friends and also love. Shakespeare represents the main character, the educated and clever young man allocated such lines of the personality as keenness and deep emotionality. Then, when in his life there are series of tragic events, his habitual outlook is broken. He sees imperfection of the world. It asks such questions as: Whether it is worth living? What is death? How to fight against the evil? Throughout all play Hamlet suffers internal doubts and sincere tortures. Hamlet's monologue "To be or not to be?" it was from beginning to end penetrated by heavy understanding of grieves of life. Let's notice that to Shakespeare any writer did not report such deep moral tortures, did not describe such deep thoughts. Hamlet wants to act, but under pressure of circumstances of the decision him become impulsive.

At the end of the play the main character finally was disappointed in morality, in the person, it is hard to say that I would feel and made on his place, I am sure that to him it was heavy. All these moral questions which are asked by the main character of the play are relevant today.
