The profession of banker

Let's look at the profession of a Bank employee, a banker . The name of the profession (exactly like the financial institution itself) came from the Italian "banco" (the table on which money changers laid out coins). Accordingly, initially, bankers were called those who worked at the table. And the usual function of bankers for us today was performed by usurers, who for a long time carried out the most popular operation in modern banks – lending.

Today, a banker is a multi-faceted specialist who knows how to properly operate financial flows, manage loans and loans. In fact, representatives of this profession are intermediaries and operators of the credit system throughout the country.

The sphere of activity of any banker covers not only the provision of financial services to individuals and legal entities, but also the purchase/sale of public funds and interest securities of private enterprises, monetary and bill transactions, etc.the professional duties of a Bank employee include consulting, servicing clients of a financial institution, analytical activities, forecasting and planning. In my opinion, this profession is one of the most promising and useful for society. Today, many colleges and universities train bankers, but not all graduates of such institutions become professionals in their chosen field. Someone has enough secondary professional education in this area ,and someone is so interested in it that they go to the bachelor's degree ,and some to the master's degree . You can start your career as an ordinary accountant or Manager, and then move to a senior position. Of course, this will require a lot of time, because you will first need to get experience and prove yourself to your superiors. But nevertheless, there is such a prospect, which means that there will always be something to strive for. The work of a banker is very responsible. Since all the duties of a banker are related to money in one way or another (and this is mainly the money of the Bank's clients), such a specialist, first of all, must have such qualities as responsibility, honesty and decency. In addition, the banker must be:

* attentive;

* patient;

* purposeful;

* initiative;

* sociable;

* disciplined;

* thrifty.

Also, a banking specialist will never be able to achieve success in the professional field if he does not have the ability to think analytically, react quickly to unforeseen situations and find the most optimal solutions, strive for self-education and clear performance of his professional duties. This work is very well paid , which in many ways justifies its complexity. In addition, it seems interesting to me, contributing to self-development and acquisition of valuable knowledge that can be useful not only in the professional sphere, but also in everyday life.
