The Changing of my neighborhood

My neighborhood is changing rapidly. It applies to different things.

For example, there are many new buildings for shops. I think this change is both positive and negative. On the one hand, a large number of shops are creating competition. It is keeping prices down. In the evenings the shop windows shine with colored lights, so at this moment the streets are looking very beautiful. On the other hand, a large number of customers and automobiles creating a lot of hustle and bustle.

In relation to this change a pedestrian zone and carriageway of a road is undergoing to reconstruction, and many new parking lots are going up just as well. Now pedestrians enjoy walking along the streets. Some people like riding bicycles with their friends or family in the evening.  A widening of existing roads permits to avoid traffic jams and car accidents. A large number of parking lots allow clearing nearby courtyards for children's games. However, unfortunately it is leading to less space for lawns in my neighborhood. I would like to see more trees and flowers.

There are many private houses are being constructed next to apartment buildings. So there are more children in our neighborhood now. It is no great surprise that the most important problem at this time is building of a new school. Telling the truth, it is not going as fast as building of shopping centers. But I hope the new school will open its doors to students in the new academic year.

Playgrounds are being built in each yard. There are swings, slides, bars, different wooden houses and ladders. For teenagers there are places to play ball. Orthodox Christians also have joy. Early on Sunday morning they are going to the new church for worship.

To sum it up, I want to say that as a result of all the changes our neighborhood is becoming more beautiful and more useful.
