My city is small, but there are places for visitors.

We have a beautiful Botanical garden. When someone first comes to our city, he is advised to visit the Botanical garden. Although our city is in a harsh climate, but in the Botanical garden all year round grow strange plants. It is therefore particularly pleasing to this place in the winter.

Also in my city there is a modern planetarium. It is interesting because here in a huge telescope you can watch the stars and constellations.

Guests of our city like the Palace of sports with an ice arena. Here, anyone can skate. This sports Palace is named after our famous countryman, Olympic Cycling champion Alexander Vinokourov.

Children love to visit the water Park "Neptune". There are various attractions, swimming pool, cafe. Water Park is like not only children but also adults. Because here you can swim at any time of the year.

We also have museums – local lore, art Museum, and Abylai Khan Museum-residence. Abylay Khan is one of the greatest Kazakh khans. Once in our city was his residence, on the site of which is now a Museum.

Petropavlovsk is a merchant city. Therefore, there are many former merchant houses, shops, businesses, which are now monuments of architecture and are protected by the state.

For example, there is an interesting house, which is popularly called the bride's House. It is estate merchant of Valit Yangurazov- a monument of history and culture of the city of Petropavlovsk, was built in the late XIX - early XX century. Manor house has a very interesting and at the same time sad story.

According to legend, this house was built by a merchant for his bride, whom he met in St. Petersburg. The girl agreed to marry the merchant only if he builds in the steppe the same house as her father in St. Petersburg. The merchant built a house, but died shortly before the wedding. The house he built was called "the bride's House".
