Commerce in our life

Computer research is the subject of many schools. Many young people have personal computers. Ninety-six percent of them are men of all ages. All of them spend an average of twenty hours a week at home computers. Most adults also use computers at work. About one in three hundred computer owners, the so-called computer addicts, spend almost all of their time using computers. All computer addicts are very educated. They were interested in science and technology from a very young age, and they are usually very shy people who like to be alone.

Computer addicts love debugging, develop programs, and love to learn programming languages. They learned how to communicate with other users through computer networks, and people they met at school and at work consider them experts who can help and advise when they have problems with their machines. Some spend their time “hacking,” and one drug addict left a message on Buckingham’s computer at home.

Some parents worry about computer games because they think that their children will not be able to communicate with real people in the real world. But parents do not need to worry. According to studies, computer addicts usually do well after graduation. Parents also do not need to worry that computer addiction will make their children unfriendly and unable to communicate with other people. It is not a computer that makes them shy. In fact, what they know about computers improves their social lives. They become experts, and others come to them for help and advice.

For most children, computer games are mania. Like any other hobby, such as skateboarding, this hobby is short-lived. This provides harmless fun and a chance to escape. If we didn’t have these computer addicts, we would not have modern technology. They are the inventors of tomorrow.

Internet is the main stream of information nowadays. It informs us, entertains and educates. We find everyday news online, educational resources, films, music, games. Everyone can find something to his or her own taste there. However, computers have certain disadvantages.

First of all, there is too much violence online, as well as aggressive pictures and irrelevant information. All this can lead to different problems.

Secondly, Internet is a free space, where personal information can easily be stolen. So, people should be aware of what they are posting or downloading.

Thirdly, computers have turned people into passive creatures. They can spend hours in front of the monitors, which results into poor eyesight and other health issues.

In conclusion, I’d like to add that computers are good at certain extent. If they are being used wisely and moderately, then they can make our life better.
