All the families around the world are different

All the families around the world are different. I tend to believe that there are no equal families in Russia.

Nevertheless, generally women do the biggest part of household chores. They cook, wash the clothes and do cleaning. Also women take care about their children. Nowadays the majority of women combine it with working. To my mind, it is a big problem that many women do the same work as men and at the same time they maintain the whole household by themselves. I think the root of the problem is that historically men have worked to get money and food, while women have watched the house and raised children. But time changes and as for me the responsibilities should be equally assigned in the family. Unfortunately, the majority of couples usually live this way.

As I have written above, men usually only work and spend some time with their friends, especially the older generation. I have mentioned that young couples try to balance all the responsibilities and do them together.

In Russia children visit the school. After that they have extracurricular activities, such as painting, swimming, football classes and so on. In the evening they do the homework.

In spite of some common things, each family has its own traditions. For example, in my family we used to celebrate all the holidays and birthdays together. We invite all the members of our family: grandparents, uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters and so on. All the relatives leave their business to get together. Usually there are tasty dishes in plenty. We share news, contemplate the pressing issues and have fun.

To sum up I can say that each family in Russia as well as in any country is equal. I tend to believe that it is great that there is such a variety of families in the world. This is what makes it interesting to explore.
