Who is a hero for you?

Any person on the Earth has his own idol, or in another way a hero. We admire our hero, try to be like him. For one person the hero is his father, for another, a character from a comic book, for the third, a world-famous scientist. A hero is that person whose actions inspire and his personal qualities are priceless.

One of my main idols, of course, is my mother. I largely take an example from her. She cooks food very well, very economical, and will find application for everything. Mom likes to do needlework: sew, knit, embroider. I am sure that my mom is an extraordinary person. Whatever she takes, she does everything: sew a dress, knit a hat, embroider a napkin, make an unusual applique or craft, grow cucumbers on the window in winter, decorate the house with taste, arrange a winter garden in the apartment, and prepare an original festive table. When mom is at home, a warm atmosphere reigns in the house. Despite the fact that my mother is very young, she is smart, resourceful. In whatever situations she finds herself, she always found a solution to the problem. I can learn from my mother how to help people without expecting gratitude and honors. My mother is a very beautiful woman, wise, sweet, friendly, decent, with principles, with a sense of dignity and mercy, patient, sociable, smiling, loving children. She works as a teacher in a kindergarten. Children simply adore her. They carefully listen to every mother’s word, catch her eye on herself, and this makes me very pleased. In the circle of colleagues, mother is very respected, and parents idolize.

I have a lot of friends. They all are special for me and each of them is good and a little hero in their own way. The one always goes to the end in any beginnings, the another is very decisive and courageous, the third is always open to everything new. I want to be like them. I have some very good friends whom I love very much. I want to believe that we will be able to maintain this friendship for life. And I also hope that in the future I will make new friends with whom I will be just as interested.

I think we choose such heroes whose qualities we would like to have. I believe that each person in his life has been a hero to another at least once.
The vast majority of people need idols and role models as air, even if they themselves never admit it. This is not bad at all, as the success of other people is a driving force that leads to self-improvement, setting new goals and priorities, and striving to reach new horizons.
