My Home

In this essay I will try to tell you as much as possible about my home. I’ll begin my narration with those things which I consider as highly important.

In Great Britain people usually say that their homes are their castles. And I make bold to say that my flat where I live now, in 2019, is kinda like little peculiar castle. But you have to try very hard to make your habitation really suitable for living and cozy enough too. Now I will try to describe what things I do from time to time to cope with this task.

At first, I enjoy decorating my flat with different life-like plants, because without them room interior looks very lifeless. This is beyond endurance for me!

Plants and flowers I like the most are: pipals, orchids, lilies, peonies, sunflowers, aloes, kalanchoes and roses – shrubs with many little rosebuds especially. And when summertime comes, I usually put a posy of meadow flowers upon my kitchen table.

Moreover, I learned to do many different useful things. For example, I can paint the walls by myself and it will look great. I also practice fixing something inside my home without calling anybody to help me.

I also try to maintain a good relationship with all of my neighbours, We go on comparing notes about everything around for a long time. They are friendly people who never leave a person on the mat.

One more thing I need to feel good while staying at home is high-quality sound insulation. Listening to good and high-sounding music is really important for me! That’s why I usually buy expensive speakers for home use. And I’m sure spending money for them is worth it!

In one of my rooms I listen to that songs that my little green budgie sings very often. His sweet singing boosts my mood. And watching him playing with his toys is so funny!

All of these little things make my home a place where I feel comfortable. I suppose, that this houseroom won’t be a lifelong place to live in for me. Someday, I would maybe like to have a bigger flat. But now I’m satisfied with what I actually have.
