Who is a hero for you?

In my life there are two heroes, this is my mother and BTS. As for my mother, everything is simple here as she brought me up alone. My dad left us when I was 1-year-old. It was very difficult time for my mom because she moved from Ukraine to Russia by herself. She endured and remained true to herself and raised a person out of me. For the whole my life she has done and continues to do even more. I’m very similar to her in character and I love that in myself. I think, she’s a very strong, selfless, and honest person, but she’s also a very kind and gentle mother. I’m incredibly happy that she’s my mother because no one else could have been better than her. She’s my motivator.

My second hero is my favorite Korean group - BTS. Apart from Korean music, I am deeply fond of Korean culture in general. I have been fond of it for 10 years now. I began to listen to this group and follow them in 2015. The group consists of seven guys. All of them are very handsome, funny, honest, and hard-working. In 7 years on stage they have gone through a lot. Now they’re very popular all over the world, even in Russia. But they still have a lot of haters. They’re very strong as individuals, each of them. After all the trials in their life and work, they only became stronger and closer to each other. They’re more than a group, rather like a family.

They came into my life when I felt very lonely and had bad thoughts. And now they save me and gave me strength with their songs, their phrases, the way they are, the way they behave. When I look at them, watch some shows with them or concerts, I feel happy. I don’t just feel like a fan, I feel like their friend. I learn a lot from them. They’re my motivators to move forward.

When I was younger, I had no heroes. I didn't understand why they were needed. Now I realize that it’s very important to have ones. These are people you want to be like, with whom you want to take an example. I’m happy that I have two of them.
