What can you say about Hamlet, the main character of “Hamlet, Prince of Denmark

William Shakespeare is rightly one of the greatest English poets and playwrights. He wrote numerous works, which even after many centuries are still very close to the reader its plot, lyricism and description of human nature. One of such works is “Hamlet, Prince of Denmark”. "Hamlet" is a tragedy, the deepest meaning of which is the realization of evil in a quest to understand its roots, to understand the different forms of its manifestations and to find means of struggle against it. The main character of the tragedy by the name of Hamlet is one who is looking for answers to these questions.

At the beginning of the story Hamlet stands before us a young man who is grieving for a dead father, King of Denmark. Hamlet was not interested in anything, his grief killed all gaiety in his soul. He was not interested in neither sports nor books, nor tried his mother Gertrude to pull him out of melancholy, it was all for nothing, until one day he heard that the ghost of his father appears near the Palace. When Hamlet meets his father's spirit, he finds out that the king was killed by his own brother and the king asks for revenge. After this conversation the Prince wants to achieve justice and triumph of good over evil and he becomes wild and strange in the eyes of other people. This is blamed on his love for a girl named Ophelia, whom he writes letters, but his rage and desire for justice is stronger than act on it. Hamlet is trying to expose a terrible act of Claudius, but it all comes down to the fact that he is sent to England on the death penalty. Being able to return home, Hamlet finds out that his Ophelia died. It hurts the soul of Hamlet even more. This leads us to the match between Laertes and Hamlet in which Laertes dies from his own poison, begging Hamlet's forgiveness. The Queen also dies from the poison, which the King has put Hamlet in a bowl. In the end there are only hamlet and Claudius. The Prince pierces the heart of the King with his sword, then dies at the hands of his friend asking him to live and tell this story to the world.

Hamlet not only takes revenge for the murdered father, but also tries to change the surrounding reality, alas, by means of this same world. So to retaliate or not to retaliate and that all means are good to achieve the goal. Here's what we should think about.
