Unfortunately, in our time, every second person is ready to say with one hundred percent confidence that he is a creative person

I completely disagree. Unfortunately, in our time, every second person is ready to say with one hundred percent confidence that he is a creative person. But is it true? Everyone has a talent, someone has it clearly expressed, and someone needs to develop it in order to get a good result. However, having a little developed talent for some kind of creativity does not mean that a person has the right to devote his life to this and thoughtlessly spend the state's money. I won't argue, really talented people sometimes need financial support for their creativity. Well, there are many programs that help beginners and established artists, including the state. For example, "Tavrida", a state project to support culture and art, held within the framework of the Forum of young artists. In addition, funds and grants for museums that can be tracked on the Ministry of culture's website. As well as ICOM-Russia, which provides a list of Russian and international programs of public and private foundations. My personal opinion on this matter is that every person must be able to provide for themselves, even if they are an incredibly talented artist, but they cannot use their opportunities to earn money, they should think about changing their profession. In my understanding, an artist is a person who creates something beautiful. The concept of beauty is different for everyone, so I do not focus on any particular creativity. It takes inspiration to create something. I know many examples when talented people who earned money from their work stopped creating something worthwhile. As for contemporary artists. Perhaps money somehow influenced the person in consequence of which the inspiration left them. And to put it simply, a person who works for an idea will be much more successful than a person who works for money. This is what concerns creativity. Take people like van Gogh or Edgar Alain PoE. They lived in poverty and created things that did not bring them money, but as I suspect brought happiness, this is the whole point of artists. In conclusion, what I'm getting at is that an artist is a person engaged in an activity related to creating art, practicing the arts, or demonstrating an art. You must have the talent to create a masterpiece out of nothing. This requires inspiration without any pretense. And we live in a time of complete dissimulation. Therefore, I believe that today artists have enough opportunities to realize their creativity, and by allocating even more money than we have already allocated, we simply encourage all sorts of idlers.

Topic: Art (Essay) – Most artists earn low salaries and should therefore receive funding from the government in order for them to continue with their work. To what extent do you agree?
