Some people think that cities are the best places to live

Some people think that cities are the best places to live. Others prefer to live in a rural area. Compare the advantages and disadvantages of living in the city to living in the countryside

Life in the city is convenient, because it gives a lot of opportunities for education, career and social life. If you live in a large city, you can choose any education that meets your requirements. You can graduate from a prestigious university or other educational institution, find a high-paying job, and you have a lot of opportunities for personal growth. In addition, social life is very diverse. There are many theaters, museums, cinemas and art exhibitions. Life in a big city is definitely suitable for those who prefer an active lifestyle and who do not have enough twenty-four hours a day.

Advantages of village life:

  1. The air is much cleaner than in the city.
  2. You can grow your own vegetables, fruits, and berries. Do the housework and get meat, eggs, and milk. You will be sure of their quality.
  3. A trip to shish kebabs, fishing, in the forest for mushrooms is planned faster than in the city, and to get close.
  4. Money is spent on living in the village less than in the city. In fact, because there is not much to spend them in the village.
  5. In addition to the advantages, there are also significant disadvantages of moving to the village. And if you decide to take a cardinal step, you need to see an objective picture.

Life in the city what are the advantages:

  1. You always have a choice of how to spend your free time. Dozens of master classes, trainings, and free events are held every day. There are exhibitions, museums and movies. You can make your leisure time incredibly rich.
  2. There is a lot of interesting work in the cities and you will get decent money.
  3. It is possible to make many useful acquaintances. It's easy to start a business.
  4. A lot of round-the-clock pharmacies and ambulances are working like clockwork. In addition to public clinics, cities are full of private specialists. Health protection in the city is much higher than in the village.
  5. You have the opportunity to choose which courses and clubs your children will go to. The cities are full of schools, studios, where you can take a child.

What are the disadvantages of living in the village:

  1. There is no permanent job here. If it is, then the salaries are far from urban. Some residents of villages work in a seasonal way, then you really need to work here. The schedule from 8 to 17.00, as in the city, is irrelevant here.
  2. Your home will not have basic amenities. A summer shower and toilet on the street is not considered the limit of dreams. If you take the amenities into the house, it will cost a lot of money. Calculate the options for how to arrange life, and only then buy a house, or think about moving.
  3. Many products are not available in stores. You can order them and they will be brought to you from the city, but they will be more expensive at the price, and the quality is not always good.
  4. There is practically no medical protection in the village. If you need medicines urgently, you will not find them in a rural pharmacy. It is almost impossible to call a doctor home. The qualifications of staff in rural hospitals are very different from their urban counterparts.

City life what are the disadvantages:

  1. Most city residents have a rented apartment. We have to deal with paying rent and paying for utilities in addition. As a result, these expenses eat up to 50% of the budget, sometimes much more.
  2. The food in supermarkets and shops is not of very good quality. And if you do not use trips to the market, search for an alternative, you can significantly spoil the work of the gastrointestinal tract.
  3. You need to get to work by public transport. This is a waste of money and a couple of hours of time every day.
  4. Finding an interesting job is not easy, especially if you are used to working for someone for a fixed rate.

Taking all of the above into account, I believe that people should choose between living in the city and the country, based on their preferences, lifestyle and vocation.
