Nowadays, in most of the areas of our life we cannot do without a computer. This situation is due to our capabilities. Computer is a helper of people in the modern world. Initially, computers helped people make complex miscalculations, but modern computers have many programs for processing information and access to the Internet. The storage and exchange of information, communication between people, numerous computer programs - all this makes it indispensable for modern man.

There are some benefits of using a computer. Firstly, if computer is connecting to the Internet, it becomes an indispensable source of information: encyclopedias, dictionaries, reference books are available to the user at any time of the day. Secondly, communication - social networks, chat rooms, Skype or Viber, which help to talk with relatives and friends living abroad. Thirdly, computer provides study assistance: write an essay in Word, make tables and graphs in Excel, arrange a presentation in Power Point. In addition, a computer is used as part of every area of life, for example, in transport companies, in business, medicine, industry, or for climate assessment. Also, the computer is a universal entertainment tool: games online, audio players and video players. Finally, people use a computer to do ordinary daily work quickly and easily. Using a personal computer makes the difficult task less difficult. If the laptop or desktop breaks, you can always take it to a service center. Cons of the computer are: 1) additional costs for electricity, maintenance and repairs, which are often very expensive. 2) Continued use of the computer impairs health, in particular vision and posture. 3) Access to "useless" and untrue information, dangerous sites: dangerous youth movements, sects, propaganda of extremism or violence.

In conclusion I want to say that the cons of using a computer depend on the person. This means that a person should use this useful technique exclusively in his interests. Do not forget folk wisdom: “Business first, pleasure afterwards”.
