My memorable day

I think that every person have their own most memorable day. It can be one day of your childhood, your graduation or the day of your child’s birth. For me, this especial day is the day of my wedding.

It was in 2014, I was 20 years old. In august of this year, my husband and I decided to marry. We went to the registry office and chose the date of our wedding. We decided to choose 9 November.

Our next step was to decide whom to call for a wedding. We thought about inviting friends or celebrating with parents and eventually decided to invite only relatives, since we only counted on our money. I didn't worry that my friends took offense, I knew that they understood me.

Then we went to the restaurant and agreed with the head of the restaurant about the menu, the number of guests, the day and time of the visit.

A few weeks later, I started looking for my dress. I didn’t want an expensive dress and it was important for me that the dress was in the style of the 1920s. When I found it, I was very happy because it was my dream to look like a girl from the past.

In November 8, I woke up and realized that this day will change my life. From early morning I was visited by a photographer and a make-up artist. They did magic things. One woman made perfect photos and another one did me short hair. Some hours later, I was ready to meet my husband.

He came with his parents and sister with bouquet of purple roses in his hand. He was very surprised to see me and then we went to the registry office.

When the ceremony began, I was worried. When we left the hall, I felt like a different person. I changed not only the surname in the passport, but my whole life.
