Leaders are made-not born

‘Leaders are made-not born’ this phrase literally describes my opinion about natural leaders. But who is leader? What characteristics do leader have?

Most people associate leader with person that goes in front of everyone. He is led by people that trust him. It’s obvious that they see some leader characteristics so they’re trust him.

I think leader, above all, is open minded and comprehensively advanced person. Such person has strong character.

Leader is not afraid of problems because he easily overcome them. Moreover, he could take problems of people that he is led by. A good leader is a charismatic person what means he can convince people and he has his own opinion. His actions are always connected with common sense and they’re rational and direct. Also he takes risks but only when they’re reasonable. He always reaches his purposes and it’s not resulted from his aggression but his persistence. That’s why he overcomes all the obstacles. A leader is ambitious he sets unattainable goals but they don’t scare him but inspire.

A good leader always has a well-organized team. He believes in every member of his team and mentors all his friends. Every member of team from the beginner to the leading specialist gets proper support and care. And if the leader sees someone who is better him he will lay his mantle on him.

But leader is not a perfect person, like all of us he has disadvantages. And instead of staying at one place he is always working on them. He spends his free time on development of himself. That because a leader is always prepared for unexpectedness.

Perhaps leadership is one of the most useful qualities of people. It inspires and leads to the action. And if you have this quality you’ll have everything.
