Families around the world

There are many countries in the world that have their own individual traditions and characteristics.

For example, in a Russian family, the New Year is celebrated every year on the night of December 31 to January 1. Families get together, call guests, give gifts, set the table and eat the traditional New Year's salad Olivier. Children write letters with their wishes to Santa Claus.

Finland celebrates Christmas on December 25th. Sacred for every Finn is a plentiful feast with treats and strong drinks, among which must certainly be plum jelly and sweet rice porridge. Finnish grandfather is called Joulupukki, children should whisper to him about their desires.

In Spain, celebrations are like niches. But there is also a tradition, each person on New Year's Eve should eat 12 grapes for good luck - one with each blow of the local chimes.

Each country has its own characteristics and traditions. They are unusual and beautiful in their own way.
