A hero for me is a person who does good deeds

A hero for me is a person who does good deeds. A person who helps people, (and not only) not having at the same time mercenary goals, not looking for benefit. A hero does not have to be a famous person. Everyone can become a hero. A man who saved a person's life is a hero. A man who helped another person when he needed help is a hero.

People, whose profession is connected with saving lives, helping others are heroes. But you need to be worthy of this "rank", because if you once saved someone, but your soul is dirty - you are not a real hero.

Let's turn to Wikipedia. What definition does the word "hero":

A hero is a person or main character of a literary work who, in the face of danger, combats adversity through feats of ingenuity, bravery or strength, often sacrificing their own personal concerns for a greater good

Another definition:
A hero is a person who performs extraordinary deeds for the benefit of others.
And the last:
Hero, one who displays courage and self-sacrifice for the greater good.

Now let's think and try to remember, what "heroes" do we know in our time?
I think that the average person can not even name one name.
Why?
The answer is simple.
How often do we hear in the news about heroes? About people who saved someone, and at the same time died. I will answer for you. Infrequently.
Yes, the news is often said about the bad. Fires, earthquakes, etc.

Sometimes we hear someone died, saving someone, but it is mentioned casually.
It's sad that now in the news little time is devoted to good events and so many senseless things

At the end I want to say again, everyone can become a hero but you need to be worthy of it. To begin with, it is worth starting to be a "man."
