My Lucky Charm

My lucky charm is an elephant. A related story from my childhood. I was very young, when I was presented with a soft toy – a blue elephant with round black eyes. His eyes seemed real. So the elephant for me was real.

We lived in different cities, but the elephant always went with us. If we went to someone for a visit, this elephant I always took with him. When I have someone hurt, I wasn't crying into the pillow, and the elephant.

When I got older, I bought a lot of different elephants. School backpack was a huge elephant, notebooks and diaries, too, were with the elephants. Dresses, jackets, sweaters – all was with the elephants. Even the school uniforms I had a hand – knitted black with a white elephant on the pocket.

So quietly the elephant became my talisman.

The elephant is a very ancient and respected among the beasts giant, which is a symbol of longevity and health. He has all the qualities that are inherent to any ruler, Majesty, peacefulness, chastity, intelligence, kindness and peacefulness.
