All parents are trying to teach their children something that will help them in their lives, and my mom will do the same for me. I am always grateful to her for that

Me and my mom traveled a lot, and maybe that's why one of the first things she taught me a long time ago. It was a phrase “My home is where I am”, but I felt it only when I turned 18.

When I was younger, I didn't understand what it meant , because in the books that they read to me and what I read, wrote that home is where those who are dear to you ( friends, family). “Unfortunately we cannot always be close to those we love, and it’s so sad to me, but you always have a person who will always be by your side, it’s- you. You should be comfortable being alone my dear, it’s very useful for a person, sometimes to be alone ”- my mom told me when I asked her about the meaning of this phrase. But anyway, even when my mother explained to me the meaning of this phrase, I did not understand anything.

I first understood and felt this phrase when I went to another city myself and lived there for several days. At first I was scared, I was alone in a big unfamiliar city.
I felt like a stranger in that apartment and that city,
but after a few days I began to feel comfortable , I got to know the neighbors. And the more I traveled, the more I realized that wherever I went, I would always be at home.

now that I understood what this quote is about, I like it.

Because now for me, this phrase means harmony with myself, freedom.

I love the feeling of being at home everywhere and the fact that
and the fact that I will never be alone because i have me.
