Would you like to live in a smart home? Why and why not? It is a really difficult question. In this essay, I will try to answer this question.

We live in a century of high technology. Innovative technologies are introduced in each part of life and concern everything. For example, we use computers, robots or automobiles. Every day scientists do their best to invent something that will simplify our lives. But not only phones, cards or robots have become “smart”, some modern homes are also “smart”. What is a smart home? It is a home controlled by the central computer. This very computer controls all life-support systems and services. It controls lighting, water system, heating system, air-conditioning, and other systems. You can control this central computer using audio equipment or video equipment, for example, or even remotely. In some smart houses, robots are also used.

On the one hand, there are a lot of advantages to living in a smart home. This is one of the ways of reasonable consumption. That is why I want to live in a smart home. This is a great opportunity to save not only time but also natural resources.

On the other hand, I do not want to live in a smart home. I have several reasons for this. Firstly, it is too expensive a pleasure for small towns. Not everyone can afford it. Secondly, it is not well-known in Russia.

From my point of view, a “smart” home is a useful technology. There is the control of air-conditioning, heating system or video monitoring in many officeы or commercial buildings. I think a smart home is something that will be the usual thing soon.

In conclusion, a “smart” home has its advantages and disadvantages. I would like to live in such a home in the future. I believe that the future generation will have even smarter innovations.
