Would you like to live in a smart home?

To tell the truth I can’t say directly “yes” or “no”.

In my opinion smart home has its pluses and minuses. Personally I would prefer to live in ordinary home with some smart functions.

For example I want to turn on or turn off the light by my voice, because it’s not comfortable to turn off light by myself. I think it’s very useful to have voice commands in your kitchen. You can cook one dish and command to your smart kitchen to turn on oven while you are busy. Or for example you can turn on kettle while you’re still in bed.

Smart house can control you day plan, make notifications about messages, phone calls, future meetings and plans. Smart home can control children, feed animals.

But I think smart home has a lot of minuses. First of all, everything is depend on electricity in smart house. If anything happens with energy, nothing will be working in it. Secondly, everything is working with help of computers. If it will be an error in computer, you can’t use your smart house. Or if computer will have an error and decide to turn on gas, or turn off the light. And it will be a problem to stop a computer.

Hackers can destroy the system of house. So they can control your house, all security systems of house, all electronic furniture. They can steal information about people and sell it to other people.

The best way for me is to have smart house with manual control in different situations. I want to control everything if something will happen.

In conclusion I want to say that I want to have smart house. But I want to have manual control in extreme situations.
