World of possibilities

In the 21st century society, science and computer technology are developing rapidly. And if you want to exist in the modern world, you must constantly engage in self-development, acquire new knowledge and skills, stimulate your mind for the clear and productive work.

One of the most important elements in the development of a contemporary person is studying foreign languages.

There are thousands of languages in the world. Perhaps, there are as languages as nations in our world. But nowadays, the majority of all earthlings strive to learn English. Why?

Firstly, English is the language of world communication. It is the language of modern industry, science, culture, commerce, diplomacy, business, computer technology, Internet, and mass media. It is the language of many political and economic organisations: OON, NATO, EU, NAFTA, OPEC.

Secondly, English is the international language. It is the second most spoken language in the world (after Chinese). It is spoken by one and a half billion people. In the UK, Australia, New Zealand,the U.S. English is the official language, and in Canada, Ireland, South Africa, it is one of the official languages.

English always can help you. You can easily book a hotel room or order a meal in a restaurant or ask the way to your hotel if you travel. You can run your business with any international firms and companies and make your career.

I have been learning English since the first gradenot only to get highly-paid job, but also to read the works of English and American writers in the original, to communicate with people from different countries, to travel and to realize my childhood dream to visit London. I dream to walk through Trafalgar Square, to see Big Ben and the Tower and Westminster Abbey, to go to the “Romeo and Juliet” in the “Globe”. I think it’s impossible to understand all the flavor and culture of the British without knowledge of English.

The English language is the key opening the door to the world of infinite possibilities. It provides access to interesting and useful information, to

learn with the history and culture of other countries, besides, anyone can always ask for help. So I convince again and again that this language should be learned by everyone in the modern world.
