Is it necessary to discover space? It is a really difficult question. In this essay, I will try to answer this question.

Nowadays it is developing rapidly. But there is only one problem. Though billions of dollars are spent on the development of astronomy and astronautics, it may seem that these branches do not make any progress. So, space exploration is worth spending such a big amount of money or, maybe, it is just a waste of resources and time as there are a lot of other incredibly significant problems. There are two opposite opinions about space exploration.

On the one hand, the exploration of space gives us a chance to find out more facts about the origin of the Earth and the Universe. Exploring space allows people to find some new things such as new minerals or new living beings. It may help greatly to predict the future.

On the other hand, some people think that we should not waste time and money on space travel. They believe that money which is usually spent on space research could be given to poor people who die from hunger.

In my point of view, the space program is very crucial and important for the whole world and should be funded because it will help to improve the communication between countries in the world and also helping to search for a new alternative to live.

In conclusion, there are many opinions about discovering space. There is no one right or wrong opinion. I would like to say that space exploration has great importance today, which means the cost of any mistake may be very high. Like any other kind of human activity, it has some advantages and drawbacks.
